A Small Idea
Brewing Big Change
In June 2024, Deena Cohen, a 14 year old schoolgirl from Sydney came to us with a simple but powerful idea: give coffee lovers a way to offset the carbon footprint of their daily brew.
Thanks to support from Change X, that idea quickly turned into action.
With every coffee sold in a FFT Coffee Cup, 10c goes straight to funding climate-saving solutions for farmers. That’s enough to cut 0.50kg of CO₂— the approximate average carbon footprint of your flat white.
We’re proud to be partnering with BioPak, one of Australia’s leading companies in sustainable, compostable packaging. Together, we’re launching a pilot project in June 2025 to test our very first carbon-fighting coffee cup.
Inspired by Deena, school kids across Australia are taking action—calling on local cafés to give customers a choice that puts the planet first.
