Smiling Australian Farmer

We’re an Australian not-for-profit, registered environmental charity, working to cut greenhouse gas emissions and restore the planet — starting on the farm.

As a registered charity, we design and run programs that reduce emissions, build awareness, and back real climate solutions.

We work with the government, industry, farmers, climate solution providers who share our mission, and raise funds to make impact possible.

Farming for Tomorrow is an initiative of the Forever Foundation (ABN 50648802733), a registered Not-for-Profit, a Registered Environmental Organisation and a regulated charity with the Australian Charities and
Not-for-Profits Commission.

FIGHTS CLIMATE CHANGE.

How Farming for Tomorrow works

When you visit a supermarket, fashion retailer, or coffee shop and choose a product with the Farming for Tomorrow promise, a portion of the sale makes a range of climate-clever innovations 100% free for farmers. These solutions empower farmers to reduce emissions at the source.

1. Local stores stock Farming for Tomorrow products.

2. You pay just a little extra for items with the Farming for Tomorrow promise.

3. Your support gives farmers free climate-protecting solutions to reduce their carbon footprint within 12 months.

4. More climate-friendly products enter the system.

We're creating a system that cuts through the complexity of supply chains.

Consumers want to make a difference, but the high cost and complexity of measuring carbon footprints, lack of traceability, supply-demand gaps, and the burden on farmers can make real action feel out of reach.

Farming for Tomorrow is the solution: a simplified, measurable, and traceable way to achieve real carbon abatement—fast.

This won’t happen without widespread collaboration and clear communication across food and fashion supply chains. We’re building that system, and we’re inviting retailers and brands to join us.

Ready to be part of something truly game-changing?

Fertile field

Farming is responsible for more than 34% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

But there are already proven climate solutions that could change that.
So why aren’t they being used on more farms?

And why don’t you see low-carbon meat, milk, or wool on supermarket shelves?

Let’s break it down.

  • Farmer with his Sheep

A single farmer might be managing hundreds—or even hundreds of thousands—of animals, often across vast properties. Each of those animals produces meat, milk, or wool. What is the carbon footprint of those products? It depends on everything: the animal’s age, its diet, how much it produces, the distance it travels, even the emissions profile of its parents.

A climate-aware farmer might know all this. Might want to reduce their impact. But then comes the hard part:

    How?

  • Happy older farmer

If they invest in a solution, how do they get that money back?

How do they measure each animal’s emissions accurately—and track that through to the final product?

Even if they pull it off, who certifies the reductions? What kind of label goes on the shelf? And would any retailer risk putting a climate claim out there, knowing it might get challenged as greenwashing?

And even if the product sells out—there’s no quick restock. Farming doesn’t move at the speed of e-commerce. You’d be waiting for the next season, the next cycle, the next calving.

It’s a slow, complex system. And that’s just the beginning.

  • Man picking carrorts

That’s why we built Farming for Tomorrow.

To cut through the complexity—and deliver real, verified climate impact.

    Here’s how it works:

You pay a small premium. Not for a label. Not for vague promises.

But for a measurable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

We’ve done the science. We know what works. We direct your contribution to fund a proven, emissions-reducing solution on a real farm. And we guarantee it happens within 12 months.

Once the farmer puts the solution into action, we bring in an independent, ISO-accredited certifier to verify the results.

No emissions reduction? No excuses. We redirect your funds to a project that will deliver.

  • Smiling Australian farmer on his farm

We don’t back buzzwords. We back what works—whether it’s feed additives, rotational grazing, biochar, or something brand new. If it’s science-backed and shows measurable impact, we’re in.

No fluff. No greenwashing. Just climate action that actually works.

Because farming can be part of the solution.

And with your help—it will be.
